Mr. Dye came from modest beginnings. He worked his way from his beginnings in his Pennsylvania hometown, to owning some of the most successful auto dealerships in Daytona Beach. He owns a number of dealerships within the Daytona Auto Mall, including Chrysler, Dodge,
Jeep, Ram, Maserati, and Fiat.

He is the Treasurer of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce, and sits on several boards in Volusia County. He is past President and a current Trustee of the Boys and Girls Club of Volusia County.

Since coming to the area in the early 1980s, he has been a strong supporter of community and local organizations. His advice to others is to “make sure to talk to current and potential community members, and find out how you can help.”
